Gurukitty Studios is a tiny little Studio started in 1997 by a set of twins in British Columbia, Canada.
At Gurukitty Studios we create comics and some short animations based on stories and characters created by us. Occasionally, we will bring in some other talent to help us bring some of our concepts to fruition, but most of the time, everything is done solely by the two of us.
Both of us have completed a comic production course, one (Guru) took a course with Trent Larson at Vancouver Film School in 2004 and the other (Kitty) with Steve Rolston at Vanarts in 2010. Guru is also a graduate of the Classical Animation program at Vancouver Film School (2004-2005).
We also bleed into the crafter world by creating digital stamps and Copic tutorials. Guru is Copic Certified, and is also doing Copic classes and workshops.
We also create other products, merchandise and marketing tools to promote our projects. We have a button machine and so we also offer our services making promotional tools for others as well.
